Initial ideas on a universal topic

More than 200 articles on our website deal with the effects of AI. These articles not only address large language models (LLMs), but also small applications, such as "support" for various search engines. Not only does this make searching less precise, but we also have no guarantee that the software isn't simply hallucinating—in other words, simply making up an answer..

There are so many articles on this topic because the areas of application for AI programs are now proliferating in all areas. Last year, we therefore took a closer look at AI programs. The result was three somewhat longer articles.

Based on these articles and the problems with artificial intelligence programs that have emerged this year, we have attempted to derive recommendations for action to avoid the pitfalls mentioned in the above articles in the future. The document entitled "Statement on the rejection of AI-generated texts and images" can be downloaded from our website and shared with others. We do not want to end the discussion with this, but welcome comments and feedback on our ideas.

So far, the topics have focused in particular on the "production" of texts and images with AI programs. These include the probability of errors, hallucination, i.e., the creation of content without any recourse to facts. Furthermore, it deals with AI as an energy guzzler and destroyer of the environment. As an alternative, we want to offer an alternative quality feature – "Without Artificial Intelligence – OKI (Ohne KI)" and information on ways to use the web without AI.
