"WhatsSpy Public" sagt dir alles

Mit dem Programm "WhatsSpy Public", das sogar auf einem kleinen Raspberry-Pi-Minicomputer läuft kann man die "Privatsphäre-Einstellungen" von WhatsApp austricksen. Das funktioniert auch, wenn der Online-Status von den Nutzern mit "Niemand" markiert wurde. "Obwohl meine Account-Einstellungen auf ‚Niemand‘ gestellt waren, gab WhatsApp eine Meldung aus, sobald ich als Nutzer online ging", so ein Hacker. "Sind die eigenen Einstellungen nicht auf ‚Privat‘ gestellt, können sogar Profil-Bilder, Einstellungen und Statusangaben ausgelesen werden."

WhatsApp hat zu dem Problem noch keine Stellungnahme abgegeben.
