On November 14, 2025, the climate movement is calling for worldwide climate protests on the occasion of the 30th World Climate Conference in Brazil. In Germany alone, there will be over 60 actions. In Berlin, the demonstration will start at 4 p.m. at Pariser Platz, where it will end after marching around the Bundestag. With the bright lettering “Keep Your Promises,” the activists are calling on the German government to clearly support the goals of the Paris Climate Agreement and to advocate for concrete measures at the COP. ...

Ten years after the Paris Climate Agreement, the climate crisis is escalating more than ever. That is why a real change of course in climate policy is now needed, and Germany must live up to its historical responsibility, according to Fridays for Future Berlin. A petition by the movement, addressed directly to Chancellor Merz and the federal government and appealing to their responsibility, has gathered over 150,000 signatures in just a few days.

We no longer have time for empty promises. That is why we took to the streets worldwide and in more than 60 locations across Germany on November 14.
