Does everyone want to litter space?

After the German Armed Forces followed suit and established a space command despite the ban imposed by the 1967 Outer Space Treaty there will be another endless hole for our money. This command is to possess and deploy lasers, jamming systems, and so-called inspection satellites. In order to maintain communications in the event of a crisis, the German Armed Forces are also to have a Starlink system similar to that of Elon Musk.

To realize this, 100-200 satellites are to be placed in orbit. Since the German Armed Forces are said to have over 35 billion euros at their disposal for their space command, they can also afford the eight to ten billion euros for "SATCOMBw Stage 4." Of course, we don't believe that the budget will be adhered to ;-).

However, it only becomes dangerous and aggressive when the German Armed Forces deploy so-called non-kinetic means. These can interfere with enemy satellites through electronic jamming and the use of lasers. Of course, the aim is not to destroy satellites. The reason given for this is not the Outer Space Treaty, but the danger posed by too much space debris.
