Police chase drivers with dronesThe Saxony police will soon be using drones to monitor traffic without cause, for example, to catch drivers using cell phones. Netzpolitik.org lists further “highlights” in the new police law: "In the future, the police will also be allowed to use behavior scanners, Palantir data analysis, live facial recognition, face search engines, and state Trojans". The drones mentioned above must record license plate numbers, location, time, and direction of travel for evidence purposes, and of course the driver themselves using their cell phone. If AI controls the cell phone, then in addition to surveillance mania, we would have major safety concerns for car traffic. If, on the other hand, officers have to take control, they are not available for their normal work. We have already written extensively about the other "cherries" and their interference with our fundamental rights – just search for "Palantir", "facial recognition", and "state Trojans".
