Breaches of official duty in the Ministry of Economics?Unfortunately, we have had to report several times in the last few months about Katherina Reiche's Ministry of Economic Affairs due to failed policies. Just a week ago, we went to the streets nationwide with more than 80,000 people to protest against their backward energy policy. Now Spiegel and Heise.de are reporting on email accounts of employees in the ministry that have been examined. It's about suspected breaches of official duty, that's all we hear. After informing the staff council as required by law, 36 accounts of 27 employees were searched. It was mainly about the metadata of their emails, i.e. who communicated with whom and when. There is a concrete suspicion that personal data or business secrets of third parties will be released. This is about a trip the minister took with a business delegation to Saudi Arabia at the end of January. Heise.de quotes the Green energy politician Michael Kellner, who was State Secretary in the Ministry of Economic Affairs under Reiche's predecessor Robert Habeck (Greens): "Katherina Reiche can neither get the energy crisis nor her house under control. Instead of trusting in the expertise in the house, she relies on controls and punishments." P.S. We continue to draw attention to the Economics Minister's wrong policies: Today from 3 p.m. in front of the CDU party headquarters (Konrad-Adenauer-Haus), Klingelhöferstrasse 8 in Berlin Tiergarten. Be there!
