Next school strike on September 25, 2026

Following the Bundeswehr oath-taking ceremony and the commemorative speeches around July 20, school strikes will soon be necessary again to make it clear:
We don’t want to fight in your wars!

That is why, on July 18–19, 2026, more than 220 students from all over Germany gathered in Essen for the third school strike conference. The next school strike is now scheduled for September 25, 2026. The last school strike took place on May 8, the 81st anniversary of the liberation from war and fascism. This marked the third time students across Germany had gone on strike against the reintroduction of Conscription 2.0.
